DH2I at Atlanta SQL Saturday – May 3

Last Saturday’s event in Chicago was great– lots of interesting conversations!

If you couldn’t make it to Chicago, I hope to see you in Atlanta on May 3rd.  I will be discussing how you can focus on what matters most- your applications.  Registration is still open for SQL Saturday #285: http://www.sqlsaturday.com/285/register.aspx.

Are you are ready for a new approach to assured availability?  If so, please join me for a talk on how to create an application availability framework for any SQL Server implementation.  I will discuss why “infrastructure-up” approaches such as clustering and virtualization have solved some of the issues around high availability (HA), but at the same time raised new challenges: rigid configuration rules and restrictions, expensive software stacks and complex operational models.  I’ll explain how to create an application availability framework that provides heterogeneous instance mobility from anything to anything, anywhere – truly physical, virtual, OS, & SQL Server version agnostic, whether or not your environment already uses virtualization or clustering.  Attend this session to learn more. http://www.sqlsaturday.com/285/schedule.aspx.

Hope to see you in Atlanta!  Don’t forget to stop by the DH2i booth to register for a chance to win an iPad mini!

P.S.  If you can’t make the event, check out our upcoming DH2i events: http://dh2i.com/about/news/events/index.php.
